5 Gold Things - A Christmas Gift List
The trend for metallics has been around for a while now and I don’t think it’s going away anytime soon. This year I'm going for gold! I love all the gold, copper and brass that is around at the moment. Gold adds a luxurious touch and complements virtually any colour scheme. Whilst trends come and go these gold Christmas gifts are crafted classics which I believe will stand the test of time and look great for years to come.
Here’s my list of 5 gold Christmas gifts that I would love to find under my tree this year.
John Lewis V&A Inspired Collection
This summer John Lewis unveiled an exclusive series of decorative pieces for the home, inspired by the collections and interiors within the Victoria and Albert Museum. The series comprises 18 pieces across lighting, furniture and decorative accessories designed in-house by the John Lewis design team in collaboration with the V&A.

These beautiful side plates caught my eye as they are not only beautiful but also very collectable. I love the Japanese inspired design and the gold accents. There is also a teapot, cups and saucers in the range as well as an ornate platter featuring Japanese Koi carp designs.
