When it comes to gifts for your loved one, valentines day is the time you can really spoil them and get them something that says 'I love you'. I have rounded up a few things I have seen this year that may help you say 'I love you' to that special someone in your life.
Luxury cushions are a must for any stylish bed, sofa or armchair but they aren't always something that gets top of the list when it comes to your budget for home repairs or renovations. Normally classed as a 'luxury' purchase there are some great cushions out there to spoil any home decor lover. You can buy 6 months or a year either way, if your love loves interiors they won't help but be excited about the prospect of swooning over all those gorgeous homes every month.
The design project by John Lewis is a series of original pieces for the contemporary home, each one progressive and beautifully designed. The vase, pictured above looks gorgeous in a range of settings, alone or with stems and would definitely please me this Valentines. Any decorative piece can make a great gift but try to ensure it is something the person has asked for. We base whole designs around our clients treasured pieces but if it's someone who really loves interiors they may have 'that spot' reserved for a special piece they are waiting for.
Of course, no Create Perfect gift list would be complete without a candle. Candles work on so many levels for interiors. As an interior designer I use them regularly in my clients home for aesthetic purposes. They can bring colour, shape (form) and feeling to a rooms decor... But at night, using a candle can add a great ambiance. Of course for entertaining on Valentines evening, there's nothing more romantic that the light of a candle.
